Himax Herbicide Technical Details

Technical Name: Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL

Mode of Action: Himax acts by inhibiting the glutamine synthetase enzyme, which is essential for ammonia detoxification in plants. This disruption leads to the accumulation of ammonia, causing rapid cell death and the destruction of the target weeds.
