About Katyayani Meta Power
Meta Power (Metarhizium anisopliae) by Katyayani is a bio insecticide in liquid formulation containing a high concentration of natural live Metarhizium anisopliae fungus. It effectively controls weevils, black vine weevil, spittlebugs, white grubs, termites, Japanese beetles, caterpillars, semi loopers, borers and cutworms, across crops such as paddy, brinjal, chickpea, potato, tomato, chilli, okra, coconut, cotton, maize, wheat, sugarcane, groundnut, soybean, coffee, tea, cocoa, oil palm, mango, papaya and citrus. When applied to soil or leaves, Meta Power comes into contact with insects and penetrates their outer layer, causing their death, and works as an eco-friendly alternative to chemical insecticides that is safe for humans, animals and the environment.

Mode of Action
Meta Power works through Metarhizium anisopliae, a naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus. When its spores come into contact with an insect's body, they germinate and penetrate the insect's cuticle, or outer shell. Once inside, the fungus grows and produces toxins that kill the insect. The dead insect's body becomes covered in a white mold, which is a sign that the fungus has taken effect and continues its cycle.

Method of Applications
- Foliar Application/Domestic Use: Mix 5 to 10 ml of Meta Power per litre of water and spray uniformly on the crop.
