Mode of Action: The fungus is capable of functioning as a parasite to eggs and females of the root-knot nematode. It forms a network of hyphae that covers the egg mass, penetrates the egg, and starts feeding on the nematodes’s internal content.

Katyayani Nemotode Plus Usage & Crops
Recommended Crops: Cereal, Sugarcane, Pulses, Oilseeds, Grapes, Orange, Pomegranate, Pulses, Vegetables, Spices, Cotton, Medicinal & Aromatic plants.
Target pest: Root Knot, Reniform, and Citrus Nematodes.
Method of Application and Dosage:
- Seed treatment: 7gm/Kg of seeds, properly mix it and shade dry before sowing.
- Nursery beds: 100 gm/ per sq. meter
- Soil Application: 2 kg Per/acre either drip/conventional system or mix with 300-500 kg FYM, incubate it and finally broadcast in the field.
Additional Information
- Being a broadleaf weedicide, extreme care must be taken to avoid damage by drifting onto broadleaf crops nearby.

Katyayani Nemotode Plus is generally compatible with other bio-pesticides and bio-fungicides. However, it is advisable to avoid mixing it with chemical pesticides and fungicides, as they might reduce the effectiveness of the beneficial fungus Verticillium chlamydosporium.
