About Trishul Vam Bio Fertilizer

Multiplex Trishul (VAM) Bio Fertilizer contains Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM), which in symbiotic association with the root system helps in better absorption of phosphorous, water, other essential plant nutrients in easily usable organic form.

It produces wide range of plant growth promoting substances like IAA, IBA, GA. which helps in healthy growth of plants.

Multiplex Trishul (VAM) Technical Details

Technical Name: Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM)

Mode of Action: The major function of VAM is their ability to exchange nutrients between their surroundings and their host plant. With the increase in root surface area and the protection they offer to the plant’s roots, the fungus can acquire a lot of nutrients for its host. This symbiotic association enables plants for better utilization of nutrients mainly phosphorus.

Key Features and Benefits

Inoculated plants have increased concentration of phosphorus compared to non-treated plants.

Treated plants accumulate N, P, K and other secondary nutrients like Ca, Mg, S and other nutrients.

Increases resistance to fungal root diseases such as root rots and wilts.

The severity of nematode diseases is generally reduced in treated plants.

The non-nutritional effects of VAM fungi would be increased tolerance to saline conditions, improved water retention, control of root diseases and increased soil aggregation by the extensive hyphae network.

Multiplex Trishul (VAM) Usage and Crops

Recommended Crops: All crops

Method of Application: Seed Treatment, Seedling Dip, Sett Treatment, Soil Application.

General Dosage: 8 kg/ Acre (Granular – Powder)

Seeds Treatment: 1 to 2 kg of TRISHUL with Rice Ganji (1:1) to make a thick slurry. The seeds required for an acre of land should be coated with the slurry and shade dry the seeds for 30 mins before sowing.

Soil Application for Nursery: 1 to 2 kg Multiplex TRISHUL with 50 kg dried farmyard manure/ Multiplex Annapurna and apply for nursery of one acre.

Soil Application Main Field: 4 to 5kg Multiplex TRISHUL with 100 kg dried farmyard manure/ Multiplex Annapurna and broadcast to one acre.

Additional Information

Do not mix Multiplex Trishul (VAM) with any Fungicides, Bactericides and Chemicals.

The interaction of Multiplex Trishul (VAM) with Rhizobia and bradyrhizobia is reported to be beneficial in legume plants as well as non-legume plants by enhancing nodulation, plant biomass and nutrient content.
