About Oberon Insecticide

Oberon Insecticide is a broad-spectrum and novel foliar contact insecticide and acaricide that belongs to the chemical class of Ketoenols.

Oberon technical name - Spiromesifen 240 SC (22.9 % w/w)

It’s designed for the control of mites and whiteflies on a variety of crops, including vegetables, fruits, cotton, and tea.

Oberon Insecticide is effective against all developmental stages of these pests, providing long-lasting control.

Key Features & Benefits

The lack of cross resistance makes Oberon a valuable tool for mite and whitefly resistance management

Excellent persistence in activity against all developmental stages (especially eggs and nymphs) of whiteflies and mites

New mode of action: Lipid biosynthesis inhibition (LBI)

Oberon Insecticide also reduces female fecundity and enhances egg sterilization – Transovarian effect results into un-hatched eggs.

It is suitable to use in IPM strategies.

Oberon Insecticide is effective against all developmental stages of pests (especially eggs and nymphs).

It is effective against sucking type of mouth part pests.

It is a translaminar insecticide with excellent efficacy, providing residual control against a range of sucking insect pests including mites, whiteflies and psyllids.
