About Patio Insecticide
Patio Insecticide (Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC) by Sumitomo Chemical India Ltd. is a broad-spectrum, ingestion and contact action containing a novel anthranilamide insecticide. It is recommended across bengal gram, bittergourd, black gram, brinjal, cabbage, chilli, cotton, groundnut, maize, okra, pigeon pea, rice, soybean, sugarcane, tomato, green gram and red gram for the management of stem borers, fruit borers, pod borers, leaf folder, diamond back moth and other caterpillar pests. It is used as a foliar spray and, where recommended, through soil drenching.

Mode of Action: Chlorantraniliprole belongs to the anthranilamide group of insecticides. It is a novel anthranilamide insecticide used for the control of the recommended insect pests.
Time of Application: Apply when the pest reaches the Economic Threshold Level (ETL) and the recommended crop stage.

Method of Application
- Foliar Spray: Apply Patio as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, rocker sprayer or other suitable sprayer. Apply at the recommended dose and ensure proper coverage. Two sprays at 10–15 day intervals, depending on pest infestation.
- Soil Drenching: In sugarcane to control termites and early shoot borer and top borer. For the 3rd, 4th and 5th broods of top borer, drench the soil in June.
Best Time to Spray
- For crops specified for foliar application, apply at the ETL of the pest population.
- For sugarcane, follow the crop-specific soil-drenching recommendations.
- Do not use it in unfavourable weather.

Safety Precautions
- Wear gloves, mask, full-sleeve clothing and safety goggles while spraying.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling or applying the product.
- Avoid inhalation of spray mist and direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
- Wash hands, face and exposed skin thoroughly after spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets and livestock.
- Do not fill the spray tank beyond three-fourths of its capacity.
- Clean blocked nozzles with a thin wire or pin; never blow into the nozzle.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed and animal products. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
