About NPK Conso
NPK Conso (Nitrogen-fixing, Phosphate-solubilizing and Potassium-mobilizing microorganism consortium) by Patil Biotech is a liquid biofertilizer used for nourishing the soil and supplementing balanced nutrition in crops. It effectively supports nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium availability in crops such as cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits, sugarcane, cotton and horticulture crops. By converting nutrients locked in the soil into plant-accessible forms, NPK Conso helps crops take up nutrients more efficiently while building long-term soil health. It works through a consortium of nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-solubilizing and potassium-mobilizing microorganisms, and is suitable for drip irrigation, soil drenching or seed treatment in recommended crops.
NPK Conso Technical Composition
Nitrogen-fixing, Phosphate-solubilising and Potassium-mobilising microorganism consortium
Mode of Action
NPK Conso works through a consortium of microorganisms that fix atmospheric nitrogen, solubilize phosphate, and mobilize potassium in the soil. This converts nutrients that are otherwise locked and unavailable in the soil into forms crops can actually take up, enhancing soil fertility and supporting a more active soil ecosystem.
Time of Application: Repeat every 30-45 days, or as recommended based on crop stage and soil condition.
Key Features and Benefits
- Supplements balanced N-P-K nutrition for optimal plant growth at every stage
- Converts non-available micronutrients locked in the soil into plant-accessible forms
- Enhances soil fertility and builds a healthier, more active soil ecosystem
- Increases nutrient uptake efficiency, reducing input wastage
- Improves overall crop yields and produce quality
- Strengthens natural soil health for better water retention and root development
- Significantly reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers, lowering input costs

Method of Application
- Drip Irrigation: Dissolve 1 litre of NPK Conso in 200 litres of water. Let the mixture soak overnight for 8-12 hours to activate the microbial consortium, then release it through drip irrigation the following morning, sufficient for 1 acre.
- Soil Drenching: Mix 1 litre of NPK Conso in 200 litres of water and drench the root zone evenly across 1 acre.
- Seed Treatment: Use 250 ml of NPK Conso, included in the Amrut Plus Seed Treatment Kit, to coat seeds before sowing for early root colonization and nutrition.
Best Time to Apply: Apply early morning or late evening to avoid direct sunlight on the diluted solution. Repeat every 30-45 days, or as recommended based on crop stage and soil condition.
Compatibility, Safety and Storage
Tank-Mix Compatibility
Do not mix NPK Conso with chemical fertilizers or pesticides in the same tank. Apply it separately.

NPK Conso Expert Advice
"For best results, soak NPK Conso overnight before applying it through drip irrigation, since this gives the microbial consortium time to activate before it reaches the root zone. Pairing it with Vamizone and the Amrut Plus Seed Treatment Kit as part of a complete soil nutrition programme tends to give more consistent results than using it on its own." – BigHaat Agronomy Expert
Additional Information
- For best results, use NPK Conso alongside Vamizone (mycorrhiza) and the Amrut Plus Seed Treatment Kit as part of a complete soil nutrition programme.
- Suitable for both rainfed and irrigated farmlands.
- Farmers should always check the current product label before using, as availability can change from time to time.
