It has little residue.
The active ingredient in TEMBO, tembotrione inhibits the four hydroxy-phenylpyruvate-dexygenase (4 HPPD) enzymes.
The inhibition of the enzyme prevents the production of carotenoids, which are plant pigments.
Depletion of carotenoids deprives chlorophyll, where photosynthesis occurs, of its defence against an excess of light, causing chlorophyll bleaching.
Within a few days of treatment, the complete weed-control effect of Lemar activity is evident, and its symptoms manifest quickly.
