About SUNTECH EX MITE Insecticides

EX MITE Acaricide is a Suntech Agriscience product containing Hexythiazox 5.45% EC, an advanced, highly effective acaricide/miticide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) delivering potent contact and stomach activity with translaminar penetration.

EX MITE Acaricide is used against red spider mites, two-spotted spider mites, yellow mites, and pink mites across tea, chilli, cotton, apple, and vegetables.

Mode of Action

Mode of Entry: Non-systemic with strong translaminar activity; enters via contact and ingestion through foliage, effectively controlling mites on both upper and lower leaf surfaces.

Mode of Action: Acts as an insect and mite growth inhibitor (MGI - IRAC Group 10A) by blocking chitin biosynthesis and embryogenesis, preventing egg hatching (ovicidal action) and halting nymphal molting to adulthood.

Key Features & Benefits

Complete Life-Cycle Disruption: Strong ovicidal, larvicidal, and nymphicidal action breaks the pest reproductive cycle and causes treated adult females to lay sterile, non-viable eggs.

Translaminar Penetration & Long Residual: Rapidly penetrates leaf tissue to eradicate colonies hidden on the undersides of leaves, providing extended protection for up to 25–30 days.
