Mode of Action: Imidacloprid is a systemic insecticide with translaminar activity. Due to its contact and stomach action readily taken up by the plant and further distributed acropetally, with good root-systemic action. It is an antagonist that binds to postsynaptic nicotinic receptors in the insect central nervous system, eventually causing death of the insects.
