TOTAL CONTROL contains Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC, a semi-synthetic derivative of Avermectin. It is known for its quick action, long-lasting control, and safety to beneficial insects.
It is especially effective against caterpillars and borers, making it ideal for vegetables, cotton, and pulses.
EMAMECTIN BENZOATE 1.9% EC
Excellent Larvicide: Rapid action against caterpillars, borers, and leaf-eating larvae.
Low Dosage, High Effectiveness: Requires a very small quantity for powerful control.
Long-Lasting Protection: Provides extended control through ingestion and contact.
Eco-Friendly: Soft on natural enemies (like ladybird beetles, spiders, etc.) and pollinators.
Quick Feeding Inhibition: Larvae stop feeding within 2–4 hours of application, reducing crop damage immediately.
Minimal Residue: Leaves very low residue on produce, suitable for export-quality crops.
Emamectin Benzoate acts by:
Stimulating the release of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the insect’s nervous system.
It causes hyperactivity followed by paralysis, leading to death.
It works primarily through stomach action, and also has limited contact action.
Within hours of ingestion, larvae stop feeding, curl up, and die — ensuring rapid crop protection.
